As a PMI technician at Jernbro, you will work with Positive Material Identification (PMI), a method to ensure that materials comply with documented specifications. With the help of handheld X-ray equipment, you carry out material checks and help maintain traceability and quality in our processes.
In this role, you will work both independently and in teams, collaborating with different departments and external stakeholders. The work is varied and may involve changing locations and working hours depending on the needs of the projects.
Your tasks:
- Perform PMI checks using handheld x-ray equipment to identify material composition.
- Ensure that materials conform to documented specifications.
- Contribute to maintaining traceability and quality in our processes.
- Document and report inspection results according to established procedures.
- Work independently and in teams and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Adapt to different working environments and varying working hours depending on project needs
Your profile
We are looking for you who:
- Are thorough, structured and have good interpersonal skills.
- Are responsive and able to absorb information and understand processes.
- Have the ability to work at a fast pace and deliver high quality results.
- flexible and able to adapt to different tasks and environments
Qualifications
- Ability to read drawings.
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Basic knowledge of the Office package.
- Interest in technology and data.
- Understand the importance of traceability and documentation.
- Experience of quality work or non-destructive testing is an advantage, but not a requirement, we value the right personality and attitude most!
