We at Komponentservice in Skövde are looking for a new colleague to join our specialist team that renovates and tests machining spindles with micrometer precision. A perfect next step for those who love fine mechanical work and want to take the step into a highly specialized role in a stable engineering company.
What do we do and why is it so much fun?
In our newly built premises in Norra Ryd, you will meet a small but strong team where competence, craftsmanship and cooperation are at the center. With us, you get to work with advanced mechanics such as spindles and motors. In addition, you will be involved in the entire chain from diagnosis to complete renovation and testing. Every spindle is unique, which means that no two days are the same.
We are a total of 30 people at Komponentservice and five of us are dedicated to spindle service, one of Sweden's most competent teams in the field.
Your role with us
As a Spindle Technician/Fine Mechanic you work with:
- Disassembling, troubleshooting and analyzing broken spindles
- Measurement, adjustment and assembly with extremely high precision
- Balancing and running in our test benches
- Preparation of test protocols and technical documentation
- Manufacturing of special tools and development of test equipment
- Machining in our workshop (milling/lathe)
- Sometimes also assembly/disassembly at customer site
You often work independently, but are always part of an experienced and close-knit team.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who:
- Have a background in precision engineering, micromechanics, toolmaking or equivalent
- Are accurate, systematic and enjoy solving technical problems
- Have experience in measuring, fitting and working with tight tolerances
- Can read drawings, handle measuring equipment and preferably have worked with rotating machine parts
- Knowledge of electricity, hydraulics and/or pneumatics is a big plus
But above all: you have a passion for details, precision and quality.
