Are you the one?

Would you like to combine project management with business development and help grow our business in a region with great opportunities?

We are now looking for a driven and business-minded project manager for Jernbro in Gällivare. Here, you’ll have a varied role where you’ll lead industrial projects, develop customer relationships, and help generate new business. You’ll be part of a region with a forward-thinking spirit and excellent opportunities to influence both your own work and the continued development of the business.

Your Role

As a project manager with us, you’ll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing projects primarily in mechanical and steel fabrication. Piping contracts may also be involved.

You’ll work closely with our customers and play a key role in identifying new business opportunities and developing existing customer relationships. Depending on the scope of the project, you may be involved in the entire process, from cost estimation and bidding to implementation and financial follow-up.

Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

  • Planning, managing, and monitoring projects with a focus on quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with both existing and new customers.
  • Working with cost estimates, quotes, and financial monitoring.
  • Ensuring that projects are carried out according to agreed-upon timelines and financial terms.
  • Coordinating resources, suppliers, and other involved parties.
  • Be responsible for the work environment in the projects you lead.
  • When necessary, also be responsible for day-to-day operational management, particularly in smaller projects.

Who are you?

We’re looking for someone with experience leading projects in the mining industry, heavy industry, or similar fields. You have a strong technical understanding and are accustomed to working on projects where quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness are key priorities.

We value your practical experience and ability to get things done more highly than a specific educational background. Perhaps you’re already working as a project manager, or maybe you’re an experienced supervisor ready to take the next step in your career.

To succeed in this role, we look for the following:

  • Experience in the mining industry or other heavy industry, preferably at least five years.
  • A solid understanding of project and business economics.
  • Be business-minded and enjoy developing customer relationships and generating new business.
  • Have the ability to plan, organize, and drive the work forward.
  • Be solution-oriented and able to prioritize even when the pace is fast.
  • Has a clear focus on safety and an understanding of workplace health and safety issues.
  • Holds a Class B driver’s license.

As a person, you are proactive, responsible, and thrive in a role where you can combine technical expertise with business acumen. You easily build trust with both customers and colleagues and are motivated by identifying opportunities and turning them into tangible results.

What do we offer?

At Jernbro, you’ll be part of a company with strong industrial expertise and close relationships with our customers.

We’re in an exciting phase of growth in the region and are looking for someone who wants to be part of that journey. Here, you’ll have an independent and varied role with the opportunity to make an impact, develop customer relationships, and contribute to new business.

You’ll work alongside knowledgeable colleagues across a range of professional fields, while having the freedom to grow both professionally and personally.
