Technical Sales Representative – Industry
Skultuna, Sverige
Type of Employment Full-time
Job position Maintenance Mechanic
Work model On location
Application due date 14 August 2026
Are you the one?

Do you have a background in the industry and experience in sales?

We’re looking for someone with a hands-on background in the industry who currently works in sales, preparing quotes, or managing customer relationships. You know how a job works in the real world because you’ve been there yourself—and that’s the experience we value.

At Jernbro, you’ll have a flexible and varied role where you build relationships, calculate project costs, and help our customers find the right solutions. You’ll work on both recurring service assignments and larger industrial projects, playing a key role in growing the business with both new and existing customers.

About the Role

As a technical sales representative, you’ll work closely with both customers and the business. You’ll visit customers, identify needs, calculate project costs, prepare quotes, and follow the deal all the way through to completion.

You’ll generate business with both existing and new customers. The role involves a varied workday where you’ll alternate between client visits, preparing quotes, and working closely with the business. Travel is a natural part of the role.

We want to continue developing our long-term customer relationships and secure more large-scale projects, while of course helping our customers with the smaller assignments that arise along the way.

Your Responsibilities

  • Build and develop long-term client relationships
  • Generate new business and develop existing clients
  • Visit clients and identify new business opportunities
  • Evaluate projects and prepare cost estimates and proposals
  • Plan assignments in collaboration with the business unit
  • Work in our business systems with proposals, orders, and follow-ups
  • Follow up on deals and help develop our offering

We’re looking for you

We believe you started your career in the industrial sector. Perhaps you previously worked as a mechanic, industrial assembler, welder, pipe fitter, or in industrial maintenance before moving on to a role in sales, quote preparation, or customer relations.

We’re looking for someone who has hands-on experience working in the industry, because we believe that’s the kind of experience that makes you best suited to assess a job, calculate the right solution, and build trust with our customers.

You know how the work is carried out in practice and can therefore make realistic assessments of time, materials, and resources. At the same time, you enjoy calculating job costs, working in business systems, and preparing well-thought-out quotes.

We also believe that you:

  • have a hands-on background in the industry
  • have experience in sales, preparing quotes, and/or customer relations
  • are accustomed to calculating job costs and preparing estimates and quotes
  • have strong computer skills and feel comfortable working in business systems
  • can translate the customer’s needs into a feasible and profitable solution
  • take initiative and enjoy generating new business
  • have a Class B driver’s license.

If you have previously run your own business or been responsible for a workshop or department, we consider that a plus.

Why You Should Choose Jernbro

With us, you’ll have a role where you can put all your experience to use. You’ll combine your practical industrial background with sales and business, working closely with both customers and the company.

We offer you a high degree of freedom with responsibility, short decision-making paths, and the opportunity to make a real impact on the business. You’ll be part of a dedicated team with broad technical expertise, where we support one another and grow together.

With us, you’ll get, among other things:

  • A flexible and varied role with a high degree of personal responsibility
  • The opportunity to influence and develop the business
  • Work on both major industrial projects and recurring service and maintenance assignments
  • Short decision-making paths and close collaboration with the business
  • A stable employer with a high level of technical expertise
  • Excellent opportunities to grow alongside the company
