Do you want to help create community, joy and security for the elderly in Jokkmokk municipality? To meet the needs of involuntary loneliness among the elderly and to help develop Sami elderly care, we are now looking for a committed coordinator who wants to lead and develop our work in this area. The project aims to create meeting places and activities that provide social community for older people living in Jokkmokk municipality and to offer activities in Sami culture for our users in elderly care. 1 place(s). WORK TASKS As a coordinator for the project, you will be involved in building up the activities together with the head of operations in elderly care and developers. The aim of the project is to capture the elderly who need more social community and to counteract loneliness, as well as to offer activities to meet the elderly's opportunities to maintain their cultural Sami identity. You will create and organize activities and meetings for older people who need social interaction. It is desirable that you have competence in Sami language and culture as Jokkmokk municipality is an administrative municipality and the work tasks will include targeted activities for older people with a Sami background. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who: - Have experience of working with older people - Have high social skills and enjoy working with people - Have good organizational skills and a warm approach - Are flexible and have the ability to cooperate with different actors - Can work independently and take own initiatives - Shares the values of Jokkmokk municipality - Have a genuine interest in quality and development and a strong desire to contribute to positive change - Have a B driving license Competence in Sami language and culture is an advantage. The role places high demands on personal suitability, empathic ability, being able to handle stressful situations, holding several threads and being a good planner.
