Arctic Camp Jokkmokk is a successful 4-star camping facility, beautifully located by the Little Lule River close to nature. We are a family campsite that won Campers Choice for best winter campsite in 2025. Now we are looking for you who want to take responsibility for our facility in the role of caretaker and contribute to our continued development as an attractive year-round destination. 1 place(s). DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES You are our main caretaker and are responsible for ensuring that the facility works in everyday life. This means that you see what needs to be done and do it. You plan and manage your work independently, while working closely with reception and cleaning. We are a small team where everyone helps each other, and it is a matter of course to support other parts of the business when the need arises. The work involves practical outdoor work all year round. This is a role for you who are unpretentious and see the big picture where the guest experience always comes first Duties and responsibilities - Ongoing maintenance and repairs - Supervision of buildings, service buildings and technical installations - Grounds maintenance (shoveling snow, mowing grass, etc.) - Preparation for different seasons - Waste management and some laundry management - Maintenance of vehicles and machinery - Contact with external craftsmen when needed The work is varied and practical - from emergency problem solving to planned maintenance. During the summer, you will work alongside seasonal staff. If needed, you will also support other parts of the business, such as cleaning or simple service tasks. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who enjoy working independently and taking responsibility for your area. You are practical, solution-oriented and have an eye for what needs to be done. You are unpretentious and have a natural attitude to help where needed. With us, it is important to be able to switch between tasks and contribute to the whole. You don't need to know everything - but you do need to have drive, a willingness to learn and the ability to get things done. Requirements - Experience in property maintenance or similar practical work - B driving license - Good knowledge of Swedish and English - Basic computer skills Meritorious - Experience from camping, hotel or hospitality industry - Knowledge in electricity, plumbing or carpentry - BE driving license - Experience in service work - Several languages, preferably German Type of employment: Permanent position. Duration: Permanent. Working hours: Working hours mainly during the day, but evenings and weekends are possible. Standby duty is included in the service.
