The culture and leisure department in Jokkmokk municipality is looking for a children's culture coordinator with coordination responsibility for the Culture School.
The position suits you who thrive in a role where you get to work closely with the business and help to create structure and progress in the daily work. You do not need to be a cultural practitioner yourself, but your strength lies in coordinating, driving processes and making different parts work together.
The work takes place in a small organization where cooperation, responsibility and flexibility are a natural part of everyday life. You work closely with the Head of Culture and Leisure and have an important role in creating coherence and direction in the work with cultural schools and children's culture. The assignment is based on the right of all children and young people to culture, in accordance with the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and involves actively creating opportunities for participation and influence. Culture is an important part of the municipality's preventive work and long-term development.

DUTIES.
The position consists of coordinating, planning and following up the Cultural School's activities and cultural initiatives for children and young people in the municipality. Within the Culture School, the work involves coordinating and planning the activities together with educators, creating structure in the schedule, planning and follow-up, as well as holding work meetings and contributing to functioning internal communication.
You follow up and ensure that planned activities are carried out and drive and coordinate development efforts and projects. The assignment also includes working with project funds, for example by applying for, coordinating and following up grants.
In the field of children's culture and culture in schools, the work involves planning and coordinating cultural initiatives in preschools and schools, arranging and coordinating school performances and cultural programs, and collaborating with schools, after-school clubs and external actors. Together with a working group, you participate in the development of KUPP for young people and produce documentation for follow-up and development. The work involves both strategic and operational tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for people who have:
- Experience in independently planning, coordinating and implementing activities or projects
- Experience in keeping work together where several people are involved
- Ability to create structure, plan and follow up activities
- Good ability to communicate in Swedish in speech and writing
- Accustomed to using IT as a tool in your everyday work.
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience of working in the public sector
- Experience in communicating activities aimed at children and young people, for example through social media, content production or other communication.
Education:
Relevant education, or equivalent experience in planning, coordinating and monitoring activities or projects.

Duration: Indefinite.
