The Public Works Department is responsible for providing residents with excellent service in the areas of water/sewer, streets, parks, sanitation, and the winter market. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES You will be employed in the Water and Sewer Department. Together with your colleagues, you will work on the ongoing maintenance of the municipality’s water and sewer networks. In addition, there will be seasonal tasks related to the Street Department’s overall operations. Emergency response duties related to the water and pipeline networks may be part of the position. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is hands-on, dedicated, well-organized, and safety-conscious. To thrive with us, you should be outgoing and motivated by a service- and customer-oriented approach to work. You must be able to work independently, while also being able to collaborate and communicate with others, both internally and externally. Previous experience in this field is considered an asset. A Class B driver’s license is required; a Class C license is preferred. Education and/or experience in water and sewer work or similar jobs is a plus. Good physical condition and the ability to give and receive instructions in Swedish. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
