We are now looking for another committed and self-driven Coordination Responsible Plan Architect / Community Planner who wants to lead and
develop Jokkmokk's community planning work together with wonderful colleagues in the development function and administration. In this role you will have the opportunity to influence the future of the municipality through strategic and sustainable development work in close collaboration with politicians, colleagues and external actors.

WORK TASKS
As coordinator for community planning, you will have overall responsibility for coordinating and running projects within master plans, detailed plans and other strategic development projects. You will also represent Jokkmokk in
a range of different contexts.
Your role:
- Drive and coordinate Jokkmokk's long-term community planning with a focus on sustainable development
- Lead the work on master plans, strategic development projects and municipality-wide issues
- Support politicians with qualified analyses and decision-making data
- Represent the municipality in regional and national collaborations
- Work closely with business, reindeer husbandry, the energy sector and internal functions
- Navigate in a complex, but incredibly exciting planning environment.
You will have great freedom to shape working methods, methods and processes and become a central cog in the municipality's continued development journey.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have an academic degree in urban planning or equivalent and who are passionate about sustainable community development. You have several years of experience in spatial planning and are well versed in the Planning and Building Act (PBL) and
the Environmental Code. You are used to handling GIS or CAD systems and have experience of managing complex projects. If you have also worked with inter-municipal cooperation, this is a great advantage.
- Experience working in municipal administration
- Self-motivated, confident and driven
- Strategic and used to complex planning
- Well versed in PBL and the Environmental Code
- Easily produces decision-making documents and compiles
- Experienced project manager or process manager
- Used to GIS/CAD (meritorious)
