The environmental office works actively to protect the environment and human health. We do this through supervision and testing in food, drinking water, environmental protection and health protection. As one of our inspectors has sought new challenges, we are looking for you who want to help drive our supervision forward and be part of our continuous development in testing and supervision.

WORK TASKS
The work includes conducting supervision and testing in the field of environmental and health protection and food. The work is varied and stimulating; you work independently on your cases in close collaboration with your colleagues. The work is largely done in collaboration within the department with a far-reaching delegation from the community planning board. The work also involves contact with the business community and the public, including advice and information provision. We are a small office, which means that as an inspector you will have the opportunity to work widely in the areas of supervision.
In this position, you will work flexibly across our different areas of work. For applicants who have not worked in all of these areas before, we offer a good induction to give you the right conditions for the work.
QUALIFICATIONS
- You must have a university degree in environmental and health protection.
- You must have a good knowledge of current legislation such as the Environmental Code, but also legislation for the work of the authorities, such as the Administrative Procedure Act.
- You must be able to express yourself well in speech and writing.
- Experience of similar work and knowledge of food legislation is an advantage.
- A B driving license is a requirement.
As a person, you should have good organizational skills, be service-oriented, have good communication skills and enjoy working independently and in a team. You should enjoy being active and involved in the department's work on continuous improvement in order to further develop good quality and efficiency. The salary range for this position is between 33 - 40 000 SEK/month full-time. We apply individual salary setting based on your experience and skills.
