Primary health care in Jokkmokk municipality is a workplace where proximity is the focus. Our teams work together at different levels to provide the best possible care to the residents of the municipality.
We are now looking for a committed and responsible unit manager to join our team. The health care unit within the municipal primary care is part of the social services and is aimed at nursing homes, home care and functional support. The unit employs nurses, specialist nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and assistant nurses. We are a driven and collaborative unit that puts quality and patient needs first. Our mission is to offer qualified care with the patient in focus: close, safe and professional.

WORK TASKS
As a unit manager for licensed staff and assistant nurses, you are responsible for day-to-day operations. You will work closely with your colleagues and report directly to the Head of Operations.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to combine strategic thinking with practical leadership, leading, planning and developing activities to ensure safe and high-quality care for the municipality's residents. You also have an important role in creating good conditions for both employees and operations to grow and develop. Your duties include:
- Personnel responsibility, recruitment and skills development within the team
- Schedule planning
- Interacting with other units, internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct regular dialogues with staff and other stakeholders to create a quality business
- Delegated health and safety responsibilities
- Shared budgetary responsibility in collaboration with the Head of Operations
- Shared telephone standby with Head of Operations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma from a relevant higher education institution that is adequate for the position
- Experience of leadership in health care
- Good knowledge of current legislation in health care, SoL and LSS
- Clear trusting leadership
- Ability to work strategically and long-term with business development
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- B-driving license (requirement)

The salary range for this position is between 50 - 53,000 SEK/month full-time. We apply individual salary setting based on your experience and skills.
