The position is located in the cultural school's premises in central Jokkmokk.
WORK TASKS
As a culture school teacher in Jokkmokk, you will be a key person in the work of building up and organizing teaching from scratch.
Your tasks:
- Pass on traditional knowledge of joik and duodji to children individually and in groups.
- Participate in the planning and realization of concerts, performances/exhibitions and holiday courses
- Establish good dialog with students and guardians
- Contribute to the development of activities and recruitment of new pupils
- Handle some administrative work (e.g. scheduling and communication)
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a tradition bearer in joik or have documented knowledge in duodji preferably with pedagogical education or experience.
