The health and medical care unit is part of the social services activities aimed at nursing homes, home care and functional support. Our team of professionals provides qualified healthcare with the patient in focus.
As part of developing our operations and creating good conditions in the workplace, we are testing a new way of working in 2025. In this position, you will therefore have the opportunity to work fewer hours for full-time pay. You will be offered a project position, which means that you will work 80% with remuneration equivalent to a full-time position of 100%, for 6 months during the project period. You will then be offered a permanent position.
If the project shows an improved working environment and strengthened staff supply, the reduction in working hours may be made permanent in the workplace.

- You have not previously had a permanent job with us in the same position
- You are registered in the national register, or you register in the national register in connection with your employment
- You have not already benefited from a municipal grant for post-secondary studies
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a nurse in our municipal primary care, you will have a varied workday where you work with different areas of care activities. We are in an exciting, challenging and developing time with the transition to Close Care, which is conducted throughout the country in collaboration between the municipality and the region. This means that we are actively working to drive the development of effective primary care in rural and sparsely populated areas. For us, cooperation and good communication are a central part of the development work, and something we give high priority in the working group.
In this position, you will be offered to work in municipal home care or in care and nursing homes. During the day you will
alternate between different areas within municipal primary care. This includes home care, nursing and care homes and in
the area of functional support.
The duties include the usual nursing tasks such as:
- Carrying out medical assessments, planning care interventions and performing treatments
- Providing medical care and support to patients and also support to their families
- Working in a preventive and health-promoting manner with development and quality work
- Collaborating internally and externally with different stakeholders
- To provide support and guidance to nursing staff and students
- To document patient information and follow-up of these according to current guidelines
- Some contingency may occur by agreement
QUALIFICATIONS
- Registered nurse/specialist nurse
- Requirement of a B driving license
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Empathy and interest in the patient's needs
- Interest in change and development work
- Further training as a specialist nurse is an advantage
- Experience of home care or elderly care is an advantage
