Skogsgläntan is a group home in Jokkmokk municipality for people who need housing with special services, according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). Group housing can be offered to people who have high needs for supervision and care, so that it is necessary for staff to be on hand at all times. Individuals with various forms of disability live in the group home. We also provide housing support to some users who live in their own apartments in the community. WORK TASKS Your tasks are to support our residents in their daily lives. You are part of a team where you will work together to promote equality in living conditions and full participation in community life for our residents. Respect for the individual's self-determination and integrity is paramount. The service is provided during the day, evening and weekend. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a positive, creative and responsible person who wants to contribute to a good quality of life for the users. You have an education with a pedagogical focus or other education that the employer considers equivalent. Experience of working with people who have a functional variation and knowledge of motivational work is an advantage. You are able to work independently, are calm and stable and have good empathy. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement, as well as good computer skills. A B driving license is a requirement.
