We at Östra skolan are looking for a qualified teacher in music for the fall. We have about 200 students and are centrally located in Jokkmokk and is a well-functioning workplace for students and staff. Our students are curious, engaged and motivated to study. For those students who are struggling, where things are not going well, we work with extra adjustments and provide special support. We have a well-functioning student health team with a counselor, school nurse and SYV, all three on 100% service each. We also have resource educators who support both groups and individuals. If you are a new graduate, we promise to take good care of you and help you in every way through the first important years as a teacher. DUTIES. Planning and implementation of teaching in music grades 4-9. In a number of classes we have division so that you work with smaller groups. You are a mentor for a group of students and are responsible for contacts with the home. You actively participate in the team and contribute to the positive development of the school. You also participate in other commitments that are included, supervision and participation in outdoor days, excursions and other events. If you are a new graduate, supervision by an experienced teacher is included. QUALIFICATIONS Teacher training with competence in music, teacher's license. If you have qualifications in other subjects, these can be included in your position. Unqualified applicants may also be considered. Type of employment: Permanent position. Duration: Permanent.
