Do you want to be involved in managing and developing service activities? Jokkmokk municipality is now looking for a new manager for food and cleaning as our current manager is retiring. We are looking for you who want to take over and together with us continue to develop qualitative, sustainable and efficient services for our residents. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As Head of Food and Facilities Management, you will be responsible for the management and development of the municipality's Food Pole and Cleaning Pool. You will work closely with the budget, staff and work environment, and will be part of the management team of the Community and Infrastructure function.
Your main duties will include:
- Manage and develop the catering and cleaning activities in line with the municipality's objectives.
- Ensure good quality, service and efficiency.
- Drive improvement work and digitization within the business together with supervisors.
- Work actively with personnel management, finances and work environment responsibility.
The food and cleaning pool strives to develop its working methods and provide good service to our residents. Therefore, an important part of this service will be to help streamline operations. This means, among other things, working to reduce food waste, introducing and using digital services that can simplify / streamline the work, and working to reduce overhead costs to ensure the quality of the deliveries.
QUALIFICATIONS
You will
- have a relevant university degree in catering, cleaning, management or equivalent
- have experience in personnel management and business development
- are a confident leader who can inspire, create commitment and drive change
- have a good financial understanding and are used to working towards budget targets
- is structured, solution-oriented and has a keen interest in development work
- have a B driving license
It is an advantage if you have experience of working in a politically controlled organization.
