The Health and Medical Care Unit is part of the social services department’s operations focused on nursing and assisted living facilities, home health care, and disability support. The unit consists of registered nurses, specialized nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and nursing assistants who provide high-quality healthcare with a patient-centered approach. We are now seeking part-time substitute nurses for our municipal primary care services. You will work in a dynamic and varied environment where you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the quality of care for our residents. 5 positions. JOB DUTIES The job includes standard nursing duties such as: • Conducting medical assessments, planning care interventions, and administering treatments • Providing medical care and support to patients and their families • Working proactively • Documenting and following up on patients in the medical record system • Collaborating with physicians, the rehabilitation team, other healthcare providers, and external partners • Collaborating internally with other staff within Social Services • Providing support and guidance to nursing staff and students QUALIFICATIONS • Registered Nurse/Specialist Nurse • Experience in municipal primary care is a plus • Good command of Swedish, both spoken and written • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Empathy and responsiveness to patients’ needs • Interest in quality assurance and development work • Flexibility and willingness to work as needed Employment Type: Fixed-term position. Duration: 3–6 months, start date: August 10, 2026. Start date to be agreed upon. End date: January 31, 2027.
