The Children and Education Department is responsible for preschool, after-school care, compulsory school and adapted compulsory school grades F-9. In total, we are about 120 people working to run a good business for our children and students and prepare them for the future. As an employee in our department, you work with us to create the conditions for children and pupils to learn and succeed. Within the Children and Education Department, development work is underway to achieve increased goal achievement and form a sustainable organization with a good working environment. We strive to meet the challenges facing preschools and schools, now and in the future. We are now looking for two school counselors to strengthen our student health team. The work is primarily aimed at students in grades F-3 and upper secondary school or grades 4-9. Welcome to apply! WORK TASKS The task of student health is primarily to work to promote health and prevention. Through psychosocial work, you as a school counselor contribute to the students achieving their learning goals. Working with the school's core values, equal treatment work and supervising teachers in psychosocial issues are part of the assignment. As a school counselor, you are part of the school's student health team and the central student health. You work in close collaboration with the principal, teachers and other staff. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are calm and accommodating in your treatment of students, guardians and colleagues. You need to be interested in others and have a willingness and ability to help others move forward, it is natural for you to find solutions and make it work. We look for you to have: - A degree in social work or behavioral science, preferably with experience of working with children and young people. - Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. - The ability to plan, organize and prioritize your work effectively. - The ability to lead yourself and motivate the people you meet. - Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. - Previous work as a school counselor is an advantage, as is experience with children and students with various NPF diagnoses.
