STAY-AT-HOME INSURANCE As a newly hired, permanent employee in Jokkmokk municipality in this position, we have the opportunity to offer you a stay-at-home insurance if you meet the following criteria: - You must not have previously held a permanent position with the same job title. - You are registered in the national register, or register in the national register in connection with the employment. - You must not have received a municipal grant for post-secondary studies. WORK TASKS From the fall, there are just over 200 students in grades 4-9 at Östra skolan. The tasks as social educators are varied and of different nature. Your work is mainly preventive and promotional. You work purposefully to create security and good relationships with the students, when you are present at breaks and lessons. You have contact with pupils who need a safe adult to turn to. You will focus on school attendance by making sure that all students are in their classes. You will organize recess activities and other group-building activities for the students. You will be attentive to language and behaviors that go against the school values. You participate in conflict management and contribute to the safety of pupils. You participate in the work on core values and work to prevent and promote against violations. You may be part of the school's Student Health Team and work closely with the school's counselor. You sometimes work in classes or with smaller groups of pupils. QUALIFICATIONS The personal qualities that are of great importance for success in the role of social educator are that you are a responsible and confident person. Your approach is contact-seeking and relationship-building towards pupils. A certain amount of courage and personal maturity is required to successfully lead conversations around difficult issues with students.
