As a social services coordinator (SAS), you will be part of our development group together with three colleagues and be an important part of the social services management function. You will be part of a dynamic group with specialist services such as medically responsible nurse and business developer. The group is characterized by a positive spirit with a focus on collaboration for high quality and individual focus in social services' client and patient work. As SAS, you work in close collaboration with the medically responsible nurse (MAS). The social services in Jokkmokk include the areas of IFO, elderly care, health care unit and functional support. WORK TASKS The position as SAS has great breadth and will include qualified investigation work, strategic business planning and development within the social services. The SAS has an overall and strategic function for quality management in the field of social services based on current laws and regulations. Your work includes developing training and ensuring the quality of social services processes, creating routines and compiling the annual quality report together with MAS. In addition, you will lead and support working groups and provide advice and support to managers within the organization. You are also responsible for following up on the activities' self-monitoring and the social services' deviation management function, as well as developing procedures for and following up on documentation related to social work. As SAS, you independently investigate reports of abuse under Lex Sarah on delegation from the board and assess and make decisions on abuse. Together with the core business, you create and follow up action plans. Serious abuses are reported to the Inspectorate for Health and Social Care (IVO). You coordinate and monitor the business environment and keep up to date with current laws and regulations. Part of your role as SAS also involves exploring and evaluating possible areas for improvement in the social services department's areas of activity. You will report directly to the Head of Social Services. QUALIFICATIONS The successful candidate will have experience in investigative work and be familiar with working in a politically governed organization. You will collaborate professionally with others across all areas of the Social Services Board. You will also collaborate with other internal and external partners. We also want you to have post-secondary education that can be deemed relevant and you have a broad experience of the social services' work areas. In your role as SAS, you will be expected to inspire and motivate staff and coach towards development. Keeping up to date with research and development in your field is a given, as is being structured and clear in your communication in both speech and writing, and having good computer and IT skills. We want you to have a clear development focus and a solid interest and commitment to working with the challenges facing social services in the short and long term. You have good self-awareness, are calm and methodical with the ability to think strategically. To be suitable for the role, you need to be a person who takes initiative and is structured in your work. You have the ability to lead and inspire others to achieve goals while being able to see the long-term consequences of your decisions.
