We are now looking ahead to new opportunities with the transition taking place in Norrbotten. As a measurement technician, you will be a key person in digitizing documentation. Working in a smaller municipality means a breadth of tasks and you participate in entire processes from idea to finished result. This makes the work very varied. In addition to functional work within municipal infrastructure, you will work with community strategists, GIS coordinators and others. WORK TASKS As a measurement technician in the Community and Infrastructure function, you will mainly work with documentation of municipal infrastructure such as water and sewage. Together with the street manager and supervisor, you will be responsible for updating our digital map base. Your main tasks during the bare ground period will be to measure municipal infrastructure and edit existing digital map data. A large part of the work is done from the office and outside the bare ground season there is the possibility of a flexible employment. You will also be part of the team that organizes the Jokkmokk Winter Market. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have experience in surveying and knowledge of GIS. Documented knowledge of ARCGIS and SOKIGO (GEOSECMA) is an advantage for this position. You also have experience with water and sewer systems. Furthermore, you are technically savvy and have good computer skills. We are looking for you who are practical, committed, well organized and safety conscious. You enjoy working independently with the freedom to organize your own assignment. Driving license B is a requirement. Training such as hot work or work on the road is an advantage.
