Jokkmokk is a municipality with its sights set on the future! We are a place where community and responsibility take center stage, where your skills and ideas can help shape the path forward. If you value a high quality of life with close access to both nature and community, Jokkmokk offers a rich cultural life and affordable recreational opportunities to enjoy. Welcome to a municipality that combines initiative and a spirit of cooperation—here, you can help create something new. Do you want to make a difference every day at a small preschool where every child is seen and where, as an educator, you have a significant opportunity to influence the development of the program? Then this might be the job for you. Knallhattens Preschool is a small preschool with one class in Porjus, serving 13 children ages 1–5. We are primarily seeking a licensed preschool teacher, but unlicensed applicants may also be considered. Together with two other educators, you’ll help develop our program with a child-centered approach. At our preschool, the seasons provide rhythm, structure, and security, but it is the children’s questions and interests that guide us. By working on projects, being present in the children’s daily lives, and listening to their thoughts, we create an educational experience that grows out of their own discoveries and needs. Sustainability is a common thread throughout our work—both in how we care for our environment and in how we build relationships, learn together, and make conscious choices in our daily lives. With us, you’ll have the opportunity to work in a small setting where you’ll have significant influence, help shape the program, and contribute your ideas. We welcome both certified preschool teachers and those with experience and a passion for working in preschool. We look forward to working with you! 1 position(s).
