We are now looking for a committed and confident leader who wants to take the daily operational responsibility for our rescue service's three RIB stations and two rescue guards. The rescue service in Jokkmokk municipality works both preventively and operationally to create safety and security for our residents and visitors. We have three stations with RIB staff and two rescue teams. Cooperation, flexibility and commitment are our watchwords. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES As a supervisor, you have a broad and responsible mission: - Manage, develop and coordinate the activities of three RIB stations and two rescue stations together with the rescue manager - Ensure that preparedness, equipment and skills are always of high quality. - Be a present leader for our force leaders, firefighters and rescue teams. - Recruit, introduce and develop staff. - Plan exercises and training courses. - Responsible for staffing planning, budget monitoring and reporting. - Opportunity to work as an alarm and command officer at the rescue center in Luleå QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who - Have experience of operational rescue services and leadership. - Are confident in making decisions and prioritizing under pressure. - Have good interpersonal skills and an inclusive leadership style. - Solution-oriented, structured and committed to development issues. - Have good verbal and written communication skills. - Have a B driving license (C license is an advantage). - Have relevant education, e.g. Rescue Manager A/B, fire engineer or equivalent experience. You will have a high level of protection and safety awareness and will act by providing support and inspiration to the operational activities. Finally, you have a structured and thorough way of working, in order to provide the best possible conditions, especially in the field of technology, operation and maintenance but also the rescue service as a whole.
