Västra skolan is an F-3 school, adapted primary school and after-school care center with around 110 pupils. The adapted primary school at Västra skolan offers a safe and structured learning environment for students who need a more individualized education. The activities are characterized by a small group of students, close relationships and an approach where each student's strengths, needs and development are at the center. Here we work with clarifying pedagogy, well-established routines and a low-effective approach, which creates good conditions for students' learning, participation and independence.
Our team consists of committed teachers and student assistants who collaborate closely and solution-focused around the students' entire school day. Together we create a safe, predictable and inclusive environment where students are given the opportunity to develop both
academically, socially and communicatively. We work closely with the student health team to ensure that all students receive the right support at the right time.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a teacher in the adapted primary school, you work in a small-scale and close context where each student's development is at the center.

You work closely with fellow teachers and student assistants in teams around the students' entire school day. Together, you create an inclusive and accessible learning environment where students receive the support they need to develop both knowledge-wise, communicatively and socially. guardians to ensure the right support at the right time.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have a teacher's license with eligibility for work in adapted primary school, or a license as a special teacher or special educator with a focus on intellectual disabilities. You have experience of, or great interest in, working with students who need individual support, alternative communication methods (e.g. AAC), and teaching that is based on security, predictability and low-effective treatment.
