The after-school care is organized in two groups: Syd for students in preschool class and Glaciären for students from year 1 and up. In total, about 90 pupils are included in the after-school program in Jokkmokk. We are looking for two employees for the West school. Vuollerimskolan is an F5 school with a leisure center for pupils from preschool class and up. About 20 pupils participate in the activities. We are looking for an employee for Vuollerim school. WORK TASKS As a teacher in the after-school program, you are responsible for planning, leading and developing an educational and meaningful after-school program based on the needs of the students and the school's goals. You will create a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment where students have the opportunity to develop both social and practical skills. You will work with colleagues to provide varied activities that promote play, movement, creativity and community. The role also includes working to promote health and prevention, and to support pupils in their social development. You will work closely with the school team during the school day, participate in teaching-related activities and contribute to pupils' learning by supporting structure, security and participation. The work also includes documentation, follow-up of activities and dialog with guardians. QUALIFICATIONS You are a licensed teacher in after-school care or other educational training and have a good understanding of the after-school care mission according to Lgr22. You can plan and lead a safe and meaningful activity and have the ability to create good relationships with students, guardians and colleagues. You are structured, responsible and cooperate well in teams. It is an advantage if you have experience of working with different groups of pupils and of adapting activities based on pupils' needs.
