Together we do great good and we do it well! Within the Social Services, there are care and nursing home activities for the elderly. We work based on the needs of the elderly in the center. At our workplace, we work in teams where care assistants, assistant nurses, ward nurses, occupational therapists and physiotherapists work closely together. WORK TASKS In the role of unit manager in our business, you have the chance to learn, think new and influence. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for business development, personnel and finances. You will report directly to the Head of Operations and be part of the management team together with other Heads of Unit. You will cooperate and interact with other units in a professional manner. The work requires commitment and energy to lead and develop the business, where the user receives help based on their needs and wishes. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for people who have: - relevant education and experience as a leader in health and social care. You are meticulous and well aware of objectives and quality standards and place great importance on meeting them. - an interest and aptitude for detailed short and long-term planning - good knowledge of current legislation in the field of health care and social services - excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should also be able to make quick decisions and act on them, despite limited information or difficult circumstances and show judgment under time pressure. You possess problem-solving and analytical skills, which means you are able to see the bigger picture and prioritize the right issues. You are outgoing, positive and an excellent networker who contributes to a positive working environment in the unit and in the management team. You have a fundamentally positive outlook on life and see opportunities rather than obstacles. A B driving license is required.
