Together, we make a real difference, and we do it well. We are now seeking a unit manager for the municipality’s largest senior care facility, Kaitumgården. The nursing home has 46 care beds, and the position involves responsibility for two wards as well as the night shift team. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES As a unit manager, you will be part of the operations manager’s leadership team along with four other unit managers. You will work closely with one another and contribute jointly to the development of the organization. You will share managerial responsibility for Kaitumgården with a fellow unit manager and be responsible for operations, staff, the work environment, and finances within your area of responsibility. In this role, you will collaborate with employees, colleagues, union representatives, and other professionals to ensure high-quality operations. The position requires commitment, drive, and clear leadership to guide and develop the operations. Together with your staff, you will create the conditions for service users to receive support, care, and treatment based on their individual needs and wishes, in accordance with the Social Services Act and the Health and Medical Care Act. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with training in health and social care—preferably as a nursing assistant—as well as leadership experience in the health and social care sector. Previous experience in a managerial role is a plus. You are quality-conscious and work in a structured manner to ensure the organization meets its set goals and quality standards. You have strong administrative skills and experience with staff planning. Experience with the Time Care scheduling system is a plus. You have strong digital skills and feel confident using and developing digital work methods. You are curious about new technology and enjoy contributing to organizational development by both learning new things and sharing your knowledge with others. As a leader, you are confident in making decisions and can take action even when circumstances are complex or information is limited. You have strong analytical skills, see connections, and can prioritize the right issues at the right time. We place great importance on your personal qualities. You are committed, positive, and a relationship builder, with a strong ability to collaborate and build trusting relationships. Through your leadership, you contribute to a positive work environment both within the unit and in the management team. You have a solution-oriented approach and see opportunities rather than obstacles. A Class B driver’s license is required. Employment type: Permanent position.
