WORK TASKS As a cultural strategist, you work with culture-driven community development based on Kiruna municipality's cultural strategy. In your assignment, you will work with projects in the cultural field, you keep in touch with actors within and outside the municipal group based on the cultural strategy's priority areas and you contribute to ensuring that the culture's perspective is represented in processes around the urban relocation. In the years leading up to and during the implementation of the Capital of Culture year 2029, you will mainly work together with the Capital of Culture organization and participate in projects linked to this. You are also responsible for the Culture and Education Administration's work with culture in schools, which includes planning for schools' cultural offerings and projects within the framework of the government grant Creative School. You belong to the Culture and Education Administration and report to the Head of Culture. You are part of the culture and education administration's office and collaborate with the office's staff to fulfill the culture and education board's goals and activities. QUALIFICATIONS You should have an academic degree in the field of culture, or other related degree deemed relevant by the employer. You have work experience in cultural promotion or development. You can express yourself well in speech and writing, in Swedish and English. You have a B driving license. It is an advantage if you have experience of working in a politically controlled organization, such as a municipality, region or government agency. As a person, you have the ability to work independently, can prioritize and are flexible and solution-oriented. You are a good collaborator and enjoy working with others towards common goals.
