The Municipal Management Office is one of six departments within the municipal management administration, which is Kiruna municipality's central administration. The department is responsible for the entire chain of case management, from registration to archiving. The municipal communications unit is also part of the department. The department also coordinates the municipality's work on general elections, accessibility, national minorities, sustainability and public health. We look forward to hearing from you! JOB DESCRIPTION As an analyst / statistician, you work with business documentation based on statistics and data-driven analyzes to develop routines and processes for all administrations in Kiruna municipality. Important parts of the assignment are the development of statistical data, methods for analysis and surveys that you then use in your work. Initially, the work will focus on demographic analyses and forecasts as well as municipality-wide quality work. You will work both across administrative boundaries as well as directly with the operations. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have a university degree in relevant education for the position. You have a good knowledge of the public sector. You have experience in survey and evaluation methodology and statistics. You are used to working with different systems such as survey, analysis and statistical tools. We consider it an advantage if you have experience of municipal administration and the municipal decision-making process. As the position is in the build-up phase, it is required that you thrive on building structure and routines. You plan, organize and prioritize your work effectively. You are comfortable working independently and taking initiative, but you also work well with others. As a person, you are interested in complex issues and have a good ability to investigate them in a methodical way. Furthermore, you have a strategic mindset and can put the issues you work with into a broader societal perspective. You express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and have the ability to adapt the content to the target group and feel comfortable speaking in front of groups.
