About the role: As a business strategist in Kiruna municipality, you work to create good conditions for companies to start, grow and establish themselves throughout the municipality. The role combines strategic development work with close and practical cooperation with companies, organizations and internal operations. You will be a key person in the work of developing the municipality's business climate and contributing to sustainable growth in a region characterized by strong development. Work tasks - Develop and implement the municipality's strategic business work - Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and industry organizations - Identify development opportunities and needs within the business community - Initiate, run and participate in projects that strengthen the business climate - Work operationally with business dialogs, establishment issues and collaboration efforts - Coordinate efforts and activities between the municipality, the business community and other actors - Participate in various networks, events and meeting places. Locally, regionally and sometimes nationally. - Participate in various contexts with our close neighbors in Finland and Norway, as Kiruna borders these QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have: - Relevant education that the employer finds suitable for the position - Experience in business, rural development, regional development and/or enterprise promotion - Ability to work both strategically and operationally - Good collaboration skills and relationship building, you are a team player - Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written - B driving license It is an advantage if you have experience of self-employment, project management, public sector or work in collaboration between different actors.
