We are now looking for a chef for Måltidspoolen who is flexible and able to work at various locations in eastern Kiruna—Karesuando, Övre Soppero, and Vittangi.

JOB DUTIES
As an employee at Måltidspoolen, you are a valuable resource who fills in for both short- and long-term temporary positions within the food service operations. You will work in various types of kitchens, including the Ängsgården kitchen, preschool kitchens, and school meal facilities in eastern Kiruna, Vittangi, Övre Soppero, and Karesuando.
Your work location may vary from day to day depending on operational needs. You’ll work according to a basic schedule, but your work hours and location may change based on staffing needs.
Your duties will include all aspects of daily kitchen work, such as:
• Planning and preparation.
• Cooking, including preparing special-diet meals.
• Portioning, packaging, and serving.
• Dishwashing and cleaning.
• The work is independent and varied, and you’ll have the opportunity to get to know new colleagues and workplaces.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who:
• Has training in the restaurant and institutional food service industry and/or several years of experience working in a kitchen.
• Hold a Class B driver’s license (required, as the work takes place at several different locations).
• We’re looking for a dedicated and flexible person who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.
Since the position involves working at different locations, we place great emphasis on personal suitability. You are service-oriented, have a positive attitude, and are a good team player.
• Experience and knowledge of special dietary needs are a plus.
