WORK TASKS
As Head of Unit for Personal Assistance, you will have a broad and meaningful role combining leadership, business development and collaboration. You will be part of the Social Care Department together with 7 manager colleagues and a Head of Department.
The department for social care includes personal assistance, housing forms and interventions under LSS, social psychiatry and daily activities among others. Together we form a forward-looking department with the user in focus.
Your main tasks:
Personnel responsibility You lead, support and develop our personal assistants. You ensure a good working environment, the right skills and working conditions.
Business development You work strategically and systematically with improvement work in personal assistance.
Finance and budget You are responsible for ensuring that resources are used efficiently and the business stays within the given financial framework.
Cooperation and communication You work closely with other units, authorities, users and relatives to ensure the best possible support for users.
Quality assurance You ensure compliance with laws, guidelines and internal goals and that the assistance is of a high standard.
Location is in our new premises in Rymdhuset in Kiruna, travel to your various workplaces is included, including to the villages in Kiruna municipality.
QUALIFICATIONS
To succeed in the role of unit manager, we see that you have a relevant university degree, preferably in social care, social work or other education / experience that the employer considers equivalent.
Good knowledge of laws and guidelines in the field is essential to be successful in the position.
We would like you to have experience of working with budgetary responsibility and previous work experience from leading roles in the relevant field.
You value clear communication, good relations and responsiveness in your work. You are a confident and educational leader and thus a natural role model as an employee and manager. You believe that good cooperation is essential to promote the success of the business and to achieve common goals.
We attach great importance to personal suitability.
- A B driving license is a requirement.
We apply a fixed-term management contract in combination with a permanent basic employment within the municipality.
