JOB DUTIES
Being an environmental inspector in Kiruna is a fun and varied job where you will have great opportunities for personal development. You get to work with happy and caring colleagues who help each other in everyday life in a workplace that is known for its good atmosphere. We handle everything from heat pumps to mining referrals, so it's easy to become a jack of all trades. One of our employees is moving on to another position within the municipality, so we are now looking for a new member of our team.
Your tasks will mainly consist of processing and supervision in the field of the Environmental Code, but processing and control in the field of food legislation may occur. We are a relatively small office, which means that you as an inspector have the opportunity to work broadly in the areas of supervision and that we go in for each other when needed. An important part of the work involves delivering service and supporting both entrepreneurs and private individuals in matters relating to our areas of authority.
QUALIFICATIONS
You are a trained environmental and health inspector or have other equivalent higher education, preferably in combination with relevant professional experience.
Driving license class B is a requirement.
The work of an environmental inspector involves a lot of contact with people. You therefore need to be service-oriented and have an outgoing approach. You communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, and you find it easy to express yourself so that others understand. Commitment, responsibility and structure are examples of the qualities we are looking for. You enjoy working independently as well as in a team and you have an analytical mind and good decision-making skills.
Great importance will be attached to your personal qualities.
