We’re looking for certified preschool teachers, elementary school teachers (including those for special education programs), special education teachers, or special education specialists. When you submit an expression of interest, we’ll contact you to see how your skills best match our needs.
We offer
As a licensed preschool teacher or teacher with us, you’ll receive, among other benefits, an extra month’s salary after 12 months of employment. You’ll have the opportunity to rent an apartment in the mountains, work out for free at various facilities (up to 5,000 SEK/year), and use the Kiruna Card—a discounted bus pass for travel within the municipality. JOB DUTIES
Preschools and elementary schools in Kiruna have approximately 600 employees, including teachers, preschool teachers, childcare workers, after-school program teachers, special education teachers, special needs teachers, teaching assistants, academic and career counselors, school custodians, student assistants, and recreation leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS
Your personal qualities are important to us. We’re looking for someone who thrives when interacting with children, students, and colleagues. You’re independent, proactive, and goal-oriented, and you value working collaboratively as part of a team. You view collegial learning as a natural part of children’s and students’ development.
Previous teaching experience is a plus. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
To work with us, you must hold a teaching or preschool teaching license. We therefore ask that you attach your certification and list of qualifications to your application, along with any other information you consider important.
