The leisure unit in Kiruna municipality is responsible for the operation of municipal leisure facilities such as Sporthallen, Lombia, Matojärvi, etc. The leisure and service department recruits employees for the entire department, which allows for a change in tasks and changes between facilities. We are now looking for a facilities manager based in Lombia/Matojärvi. WORK DUTIES In the role of facilities manager for Lombia/Matojärvi, I have overall responsibility for the daily operation and maintenance of the facilities. The tasks are varied with property-related tasks such as simple repairs and renovation, maintenance, taking care of venue bookings, contact with associations and customers, maintenance and care of the internal and external environment, keeping up to date with laws, regulations and guidelines, etc. You are also an important resource in the ice machine driving and ice care team. As a facility manager, the working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday. evening and weekend work may occur. Work at our other facilities may occur as needed. QUALIFICATIONS You who are applying have a completed and approved upper secondary education, basic computer skills and good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. In the role of facilities manager, you are the face of our citizens and entrepreneurs, you take responsibility and have a strong commitment and drive. You are courageous and clear in your leadership, have good analytical skills and a strategic way of working. You have a good sense of service, are responsive and communicative with aptitude for networking in the municipality. Therefore, we are looking for you who is positive, has good cooperation skills and social skills, is responsible and is a good example among colleagues and visitors to the facilities. It is advantageous if you previously have training in, have worked and/or have experience working with sports arenas connected to ice hockey, figure skating or football. You must hold a B driving license and it is advantageous if you have a professional driver's license for wheel loaders. We attach great importance to personal suitability.
