WORK TASKS
Kiruna is a municipality with a large number of associations and non-profit organizations account for a large part of the range of activities for the municipality's residents in the field of culture and leisure. As an administrator for associations, you will be Kiruna municipality's contact person for associations. You will handle the municipality's various grants and administer other association services, such as lottery permits. You will draw up and revise guidelines, routines, assessment criteria and checklists for the administration process and carry out and document checks based on them. You will create forums for dialogue with associations and gather feedback from the community. You are part of the culture and education administration's office and collaborate with the office's staff to meet the culture and education committee's goals and activities.
As a person, you are meticulous and thorough in your processing work and pleasant, open and professional in your dealings with associations. You have a great heart and interest in association life and an understanding of both the associations' conditions and the municipal decision-making process.
QUALIFICATIONS
You should have an academic degree in political science, public administration, economics or another relevant field, as well as several years of experience in qualified administration in the public sector.
You have experience working with digital application systems, good administrative skills and the ability to work in a structured and independent manner. You have excellent written and oral communication skills in Swedish, including experience of writing official statements and other official texts.
It is an advantage if you have experience of working in a politically controlled organization, such as a municipality, region or government agency, and a good knowledge of the non-profit cultural and leisure sectors and their actors.
