JOB DESCRIPTION The health care department is looking for a unit manager with responsibility for home care and the pool. As Head of Unit, you will provide operational leadership by managing and distributing daily work based on applicable agreements, laws and policies. You are expected to lead the business in a positive and committed way towards set goals with responsibility for finances, staff, work environment and operational quality. A close leadership where you balance leadership, presence in the business with the administrative is an important part of the role as head of unit. You are also expected to work for good cooperation with the trade unions. QUALIFICATIONS We are primarily looking for you who are a registered nurse, occupational therapist or physiotherapist. It is an advantage if you have experience of personnel, financial and operational responsibility and are familiar with the legislation governing our area of activity. As a person, you are goal- and result-oriented. You have a trustworthy manner and an ability to build good, long-term relationships. You lead and follow up the activities in a methodical way and ensure that conditions, requirements and expectations are clear. To thrive in this role, we expect you to be confident, self-motivated, strategic and have good decision-making skills. Sensitivity and communication skills are qualities that you should also possess. You have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing and have experience in formulating academic texts and are an experienced user of the Microsoft Office package.
