Benefits as a holiday substitute
- 10 training sessions
- 1500 SEK extra per week during the summer periods when you work at least 75%.
The summer period refers to 2026-06-15 2026-08-16. The bonus is SEK 1500 per week worked and is based on attendance. Bonus is paid if you worked at least four weeks during the vacation periods

At the Social Services Department, we work to meet people's need for security. Together, we work to ensure that the municipality's residents receive social care in various forms and with a special responsibility to safeguard the needs and interests of vulnerable groups. We constantly strive for good quality that benefits the user of our services.

To ensure you get off to a good start and feel confident in your duties, you will receive an introduction. Before your temporary assignment, you will receive training in your field at your workplace.
In all our activities, your main task is to make others feel good. You will do this through social activities, support with everyday tasks and care. The work is based on clear planning and procedures. You will work with engaging and knowledgeable colleagues. The work is both days evenings and in some cases nights, please indicate in your application if you want to work nights.
There is a great variation in the type of help different people want and need. This gives you the opportunity to choose to work in an organization with tasks that suit you.

QUALIFICATIONS
Our goal is to make your time both fun and educational, so we meet you where you are and fill in your knowledge gaps during the induction period. If you have experience, it is highly valued, but we are happy to train those working in care for the first time.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability, which means that you are flexible and confident in your professional role, and can work independently as well as in a group. We value that you have good cooperation skills and a professional approach. You work closely with the users and therefore you should have a great interest in people, patience and the ability to understand the user's situation. It is seen as self-evident that you have a good treatment of users and their relatives. We would like you to have knowledge of minority languages, such as Sami, Meänkieli or Finnish.
A driving license is required for work in home care. To work with us, you must be at least 18 years old.

As this vacancy contains several positions, please answer our selection questions.
