WORK TASKS
At the rescue service in Kiruna, all staff work with both preventive and operational tasks. As an incident commander/fire engineer, you must be able to function in various management functions during emergency services, carry out inspections in accordance with the Act on Protection against Accidents (LSO) and the Act on Flammable and Explosive Goods (LBE). You will also make risk assessments, make response plans, handle referrals, provide fire engineering advice and other tasks relevant to the service. The work also includes being able to provide training both internally and externally.
You are expected to be able to work independently on your own cases, but the work also requires close cooperation with colleagues, the public and other collaborating authorities. We have a well-developed collaboration with the other rescue services in Räddningssamverkan Nord with a joint Rescue Center in Luleå. Together with the other members of Räddningssamverkan Nord, we staff several different joint management functions that are based on the Rescue Center in Luleå. We also have a developed collaboration with our neighbors in Norway and Finland. The rescue service in Kiruna municipality is under development with lots of exciting challenges and an urban transformation that means that you will therefore have as a natural part of the work to improve and develop processes, routines and working methods in the business. In the role of incident commander/fire engineer, you will have daily contact with Kiruna's residents, companies, other authorities and the like.
QUALIFICATIONS
We see that you are a fire engineer with additional training in rescue services for fire engineers or have a rescue leader training with MSB / Rescue Agency and / or experience that the employer considers equivalent. Driving license B is a requirement.
Experience from work in the rescue service and work management is an advantage. Previous work with supervision or fire protection planning according to LSO/LBE i is also an advantage. We would like to see that you have good insight into the law on protection against accidents and other laws and regulations that govern and affect the work of the rescue service. We assume that you have good computer skills in the commonly used computer programs and express yourself well in speech and writing.

A B driving license is a requirement.
