DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES As a supervisor at the Labor Market and Integration Unit, you will coach and supervise people referred by the Social Administration and the Employment Service, to create the best possible conditions for achieving their individual goals. The goal is to help participants achieve self-sufficiency through job training, internships, coaching, guidance and matching. Do you have an interest in active leisure, sports and outdoor life? Do you want to contribute to meaningful leisure time for the citizens of Kiruna? Then you may be the one we are looking for to run the Fritidsbank in Kiruna. As a supervisor at the Labour Market Unit/Leisure Bank, you will be responsible for the daily operation and development of the business, in close collaboration with colleagues and external partners such as schools, associations and aid organizations. You will plan the collection of equipment and work on sorting, service and repair with the mission of offering a wide and varied range of loans. At the Labor Market and Integration Unit, we support people in need to become self-sufficient, settle and guide new arrivals who have been assigned by the Swedish Migration Agency and young people aged 16-24 with support and coaching. In addition to the Fritidsbank, we also run a Recycling Shop and a Service Group. The service involves both individual and group-based work. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you with a college or university education in behavioral science, social work or other relevant education that the employer considers equivalent. You have leadership experience, a strong commitment to people on the margins and good knowledge of labor market issues. To thrive in the role, you need to be clear, practical, flexible and have good problem-solving skills. You should be able to communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and be easy to work with. You enjoy working with change and want to be involved in developing our business forward. As a person, you are analytical, creative, driven, unpretentious and reflective. You have a positive and supportive approach and the ability to see the big picture. We attach great importance to personal suitability. Knowledge of climate-smart issues is an advantage, as we want to develop our work in this area. Meritorious experience: - Experience of public activities, preferably municipal, and civil society issues. - Shop work. - Computer literacy. - Ability to carry out minor repairs to sports and leisure equipment. - Association contacts or experience in association work.
