JOB DUTIES
Your duties include assessing and evaluating the need for physical therapy services. You will work to improve or maintain the individual’s abilities and compensate for any functional limitations. Your role includes prescribing and fitting various assistive devices. You will share knowledge about rehabilitative methods and approaches, as well as supervise and train nursing staff in transfer techniques and the use of assistive devices. Within the Health and Medical Care Department, we engage in quality and development work across various areas. Your areas of work will be in home healthcare, special housing, LSS, and psychiatry within the municipality of Kiruna.
Start date to be agreed upon. The work is scheduled during daytime hours.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a licensed physical therapist.
As a person, you are positive and self-assured. You have a strong ability to see the big picture and are skilled at structuring and organizing your work independently and efficiently. You enjoy working in a team and value good collaboration with other professional groups to contribute to and develop the organization. You are skilled in your interactions and maintain a professional and respectful attitude when meeting with clients and colleagues. You have strong digital skills and documentation abilities.
Previous experience in municipal health and social care is a plus, but not a requirement. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
