JOB DUTIES Working as a food service assistant involves performing all tasks typical of a commercial kitchen, such as simple food preparation, serving, washing dishes, cleaning, placing simple orders, and more. The position is based in the kitchen at Nya Raketskolan. Until Nya Raketskolan reopens, the work will be based in the kitchen at Triangelskolan. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a high school diploma specializing in hospitality and restaurant services or experience working in a kitchen. Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen, as well as knowledge and experience with special diets—from both a theoretical and practical perspective—is a plus. To succeed in the role of food service assistant in the kitchen at Nya Raketskolan, you must be able to work in an organized manner and handle stress well in an environment where the pace of work can be fast at times. You are creative, flexible, and take responsibility for your tasks. Furthermore, you have an interest in cooking and food service, as well as the ability to interact with students, colleagues, and other staff in a professional and positive manner.
