JOB DUTIES The role of a nursing assistant involves assisting service users according to their individual needs in areas such as personal care, mealtimes, mobility, activities, and more. An important part of the job is to support service users’ independence. This means providing them with support and encouraging them to continue doing what they are capable of doing on their own. You take responsibility and have the ability to create a sense of security and calm even in stressful situations. The work is varied and requires flexibility and the ability to make quick decisions when needed. You should be computer literate and fluent in Swedish.
