JOB DUTIES The position involves working as a native-language teacher in the municipality’s elementary schools and at the reception unit for newly arrived students at the Language Center. You will be part of a team of other native-language teachers and study advisors in a variety of languages, and you’ll work closely with the reception unit’s staff. You’ll also work closely with elementary school teachers at the various schools. The position may include administrative tasks related to students and schoolwork, as well as coordinating communication with, among others, guardians, school staff, and government agencies. Start date to be agreed upon. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a teaching degree. You must have very good knowledge of French; you also need good knowledge of Swedish, and knowledge of English is a plus. You can express yourself clearly both verbally and in writing. You have experience working with newly arrived students, possess pedagogical knowledge and experience, and are well-versed in educational work with children and students in the Swedish school system. You are flexible, take initiative, and can adapt your approach and actions to the situation. You have strong collaboration skills, are independent, and goal-oriented. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You will need to travel between different locations as part of your work, and you may need to use your own car for work-related purposes.
