JOB DESCRIPTION. The position involves working as a mother tongue teacher in the municipality's primary schools and at the reception unit for newly arrived students at the Language Center. Study guidance takes place in close cooperation with the school's or reception unit's teachers and is a way for the pupil to progress with the Swedish language while making use of the pupil's previous subject knowledge. You will be part of a team of other mother tongue teachers and study guides in several languages and in close collaboration with the reception unit staff. You will also work closely with primary school teachers in the various units. The position may include administrative tasks related to pupils and school work, as well as coordinating contacts with, among others, guardians, school staff and authorities. You should have very good knowledge of Amharic, you also need to have good knowledge of Swedish and meritorious if you have knowledge of English.
