JOB DESCRIPTION As a principal in Kiruna municipality, you have overall responsibility for your business, which includes educational leadership, finances, staff and work environment. You are part of a committed group of principals where we support each other and drive common development issues. In the role, you have the children's learning and development in focus. As an educational leader, you are responsible for creating the conditions for quality, teaching and systematic quality work based on the curriculum and other governing documents. You lead, follow up and develop teaching together with preschool teachers and childminders and work for a learning environment where all children have the opportunity to grow, be challenged and succeed. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have pedagogical insight and a pedagogical university education or other education that we consider equivalent. It is meritorious if you have completed the state principal program or have previous experience of leading educational activities and staff. To succeed in the assignment, you need to have a very good ability to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing. As a leader, you are structured and have the ability to translate policy documents into concrete and understandable activities. You work systematically to create both quality and job satisfaction and you are skilled at guiding your staff towards common goals.
