Kiruna municipality manages one of Sweden's foremost municipal art collections. The collection contains many culturally and historically significant works and includes both site-specific and loose art. In addition, the municipality manages a unique image collection that documents the entire history of the city and several collections of cultural-historical objects. Ongoing and future urban transformation places high demands on the municipality's art and cultural history to be taken care of in a good way. Kiruna municipality also has a policy for artistic design for the application of the one percent rule, which becomes relevant with the many construction projects carried out in the urban transformation. Kiruna has been named European Capital of Culture 2029, which means many exciting opportunities to present the municipality's art collection to a local and international audience, before, during and after the Capital of Culture year.

JOB DESCRIPTION.
As Process Manager for Art in Urban Transformation, you will inventory, register and move art from old business premises. You will also plan and implement art programs in new and relocated premises, in consultation with the businesses. You will be responsible for new art processes in the application of the one percent rule and plan together with the urban planning department for the care and placement of public and site-specific art. You participate in initiatives to make the municipality's art accessible to residents and visitors. Together with the municipal antiquarian and cultural secretary, you participate in the preservation of the municipality's cultural heritage, in the form of images, objects and environments. You will plan activities related to the municipality's art before, during and after the Capital of Culture year together with the Capital of Culture organization. You report to the Head of Culture/Deputy Head of Administration in the Culture and Education Department.

QUALIFICATIONS
You have a strong interest in the arts and experience of working on arts and culture projects, exhibition activities, art conservation or similar tasks appropriate to the role.
You have a university degree in arts, culture or other relevant field.
You have a B driving license.
We would like to see that you have experience of working independently and taking responsibility for the whole of a project, have experience of budget work, have worked in a politically controlled organization and express yourself well in Swedish in speech and writing.
As a person, you are structured and take initiative. You enjoy working independently and cooperate well with others. You are flexible and solution-oriented but loyal to decisions and financially aware. You are used to having many balls in the air and prioritize your most important tasks first.
