The administration must work to ensure that the municipality's residents receive social care in various forms and with a special responsibility to look after the needs and interests of vulnerable groups. At IFO-Myndighet og Administration you will find the Child and Family Group, the Adult Group, the Investigation Unit and the Administrative Unit. The Social Services IFO Authority and Administration addresses those who need information, advice, support and help regarding social issues concerning children and young people and their parents, adults with addictions, livelihood support, assistance issues, etc. We are now looking for a social secretary for our reception group as we expand our staffing. WORK DUTIES We are looking for a social worker with a focus on preliminary assessment for adults and the elderly. Our reception group currently consists of 3 social workers, 2 of whom focus on children and young people and 1 on adults and the elderly, but everyone is helped based on need and how the caseload looks like. The reason we are expanding is because we want to expand the preventive work. The employer offers an induction program that includes, for example, mentorship and some training. Kiruna municipality is also included in the business trip. You have great opportunities to plan your work and manage your working hours. As a reception manager, you make the first assessment regarding children, young people and adults according to SOL, LVU and LVM. You will provide advice, support and guidance for questions, applications and registration. The work means that you collaborate between all groups within IFO and other authorities. Other duties within the work that concern IFO may also occur. QUALIFICATIONS For the work, a degree in sociology or university education is required that meets the regulations of the National Board of Social Services (SOSFS 2014:7) regarding authorization to perform certain tasks in social services' child and youth care. Experience of similar work is advantageous. A holistic view and the ability to make parts work together are important qualities, as are commitment and a willingness to develop.
