At IFO you will find the Child and Family Group, the Adult Group, the Investigation Unit and the Administrative Unit. The social services' IFO is aimed at those who need information, advice, support and help with social issues concerning children and young people and their parents, adults with substance abuse, income support, assistance issues, etc. We are looking for a social secretary for our reception group with a focus on preliminary assessment regarding children and young people. As a social secretary in the reception group, you are part of a team where two have a main focus on children and young people and two with a focus on adults and the elderly, but everyone is helped based on needs and what the case load looks like. WORK TASKS As a social secretary in the reception group, you will make the initial assessment (protection and preliminary assessment) regarding children and young people under SOL and LVU. You will provide advice, support and guidance on questions, applications and notifications. The work means that you interact between all groups within IFO and other authorities. Other tasks within the work that concerns IFO may also occur, such as driving license statements, emergency interventions in the ViNR area, etc. QUALIFICATIONS The work requires a social worker degree or higher education that meets the National Board of Social Services' regulations (SOSFS 2014: 7) on eligibility to perform certain tasks in social services child and youth care. Experience of similar work is an advantage. A holistic approach and the ability to get parts to work together are important qualities, as are commitment and a willingness to develop.
