JOB DUTIES As a special education teacher at Högalid School’s upper elementary level, you will work closely with the principal and school staff. The role involves collaborating with the principal to develop and design educational programs at the group, individual, and organizational levels, based on a framework of promotion, prevention, and intervention. You will support teachers in planning their instruction so that the education is accessible, inclusive, and fosters participation for all children. You will advocate for and support the work of the teaching teams, particularly when educational assessments or action plans are needed. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a degree in special education or other training deemed equivalent by the employer. As a person, you should be a good communicator, able to build relationships, and recognize opportunities for growth in both children and adults. You should have the ability to analyze opportunities at the organizational, group, and individual levels. We are looking for someone with experience and the ability to collaborate with others and to flexibly address various needs within the organization. You should be creative and eager to find solutions that prioritize the best interests of the children. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
